Applied Ethology Insights: From Sensors to Cognition
The joint regional conference of the International Society for Applied Ethology (ISAE) East–West Central Europe, held at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, Czech Republic, from 9 to 12 June 2026, will focus on advancing applied ethology through the integration of emerging technologies, cognitive science, and welfare-oriented research. Under the motto “Applied Ethology Insights: From Sensors to Cognition,” the conference provides a platform for students, early-career researchers, and established scientists to exchange knowledge and foster collaboration across Europe and beyond.

The programme will highlight recent developments in automated behaviour monitoring, sensor technologies, artificial intelligence, and animal cognition, while maintaining a strong emphasis on animal welfare and positive behaviour. It will include keynote lectures, thematic scientific sessions, a workshop on animal welfare education, poster and oral presentations, and opportunities for networking and interdisciplinary discussion.

Set in the historic city of Prague, the meeting will combine scientific exchange with social events and excursions, supporting the development of new collaborations and strengthening the regional applied ethology community. We warmly invite you to join this inspiring and collaborative event.
